It was not easy to make a decision. On the one side cheating was obvious. On the other side there was a feeling of pity for the contestants who in fact aren't responsible for the actions of their fans. That's why it was decided not to cancel all votes but to divide them into 10.

"Troyeshchyna " gymnasium Eurovision contest winners

I would like to share with you some thoughts after watching the process of voting on the site.

Positive moments:

1. A lot of students from the gymnasium got to know that there is a place on the Internet where they are welcome – that is the site “Troyeshchyna” gymnasium, Kyiv

2. The site gave the opportunity to everybody freely and publicly demonstrate their opinion who is the best performer at “Troyeshchyna” gymnasium Eurovision contest.

3. The students used English in their comments, read other students’ and teachers’ comments practicing their English.
4. The general atmosphere at the Poll was tolerant, everybody could express their point of view.

Negative moments:

1. Some students got to cheating urging others (those who were not present at the contest) to vote for their contestants.

2. Due to mass cheating, the results of 4 contestants (№ 1, №2, №4, №10) are more than doubtful.

Today I have talked to the director of studies Volodymyr Anatoliyovych, to the teacher of English Tetyana Mykolayivna, to the teacher trainee from Borys Hrinchenko University Oleksandra Serhiyivna, to students who do not have classmates among the contestants. All of them are surprised at the amount of cheating.

Therefore, there were 3 suggestions:

1. To cancel all the votes of the contestants № 1, № 2, №4, № 10

2. To divide the votes of the contestants № 1, № 2, №4, № 10 into 10 and take them as their final results.

3. To have another Poll.

It was decided to divide the votes of the contestants № 1, № 2, №4, № 10 into 10 and take them as their final results.
