On 21 September 2010 Senior English Language Fellow, Thomas C. Tasker, a grantee of the U.S. State Department program and the technology group met at the English Teaching Resource Center (JCD ETRC) at the English Department of National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" to discuss projects the members of the group are going to do with their students this fall.
We are members of this group and will collaborate on how to best implement our Troyeshchyna Gymnasium Project.

Let's start blogging! This is how you can create your own blog-portfolio!!!
Task 1
Read about new technologies described by Mr Thomas Tasker and click on Ms Byzova's Portfolio
Task 2
Look at my blog and after clicking on Створити блог start creating your own blog
Task 3
After creating the blog type My Report next to the Title and type Hello world! in the field space, then click on picture next to the link and add a picture. Then click on publish the post
Task 4
Click on view blog. Now you can see your portfolio. Click on the tools next to My complete profile and change About me into My Passport. In the description write about you, your interests and hobbies, where you are from and save that.
Task 5
Click on design on the top right side of the page, then click on Posting on the left, then click on Edit pages, then click on New page, then type My English Biography next to the Title, then type a short story how you have already used English in your life, then click on Publish page, then click on Save and publish
Task 6
Click on view blog and enjoy your portfolio
P.S.If you want to add something to your blog, click on design , then click on Posting, then type your material and click on Publish post/ If you want to edit your material, click on view blog, then click on the pencil and edit the material. If you click on ABC you can check your spelling!

Today on 19 October the new technology group met at the English Teaching Resource Center (JCD ETRC) at the English Department of National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in order to present an overview of their projects to members of the group.
I told the participants about the idea of creating Students' blogs-portfolios and the first steps of my students. Ms Savchenko told about topic blogs she would like to create with her students.
Mr Tasker liked our students' blogs and said that they looked great!!!
