The first teacher in my family I know is my grandmother's greatgrandfather Amos Diachenko (1814-1852). He was a professor of Math in Kyiv St Volodymyr University. cool biggrin

His brother Mykyta Diachenko (1809-1877) was also a professor of Math at the University.

They were both born in the village of Yashnyky Lokhvytsia district, Poltava region. This is the place where my family is from and where I was also born. cool smile
