At the beggining of September to our gymnasium came a teacher from America whose name is Russell Wright, and he came to Ukraine with a special project which sends interesting teachers from America to other countries of the world!

And Mr. Russel chose the "Troyeshchyna" gymnasium in Kyiv - the capital of Ukraine.
When our group of 9-"Б" form came to our classroom , our teacher Natalia Ivanivna said  that now the group of 9-"B" form and their teacher Lesia Pavlivna would join us!

We didn't know why it happened , but in a few minutes to our classroom came two men.

 

 

One of them didn't know Ukrainian , but we understood that the second one was Ukrainian! Then the first one  said  that he was the teacher from America and he began to talk with us in English!

 

 

Mr. Russel asked us about our favourite clothes. One by one we said what he or she likes to wear when we are not in gymnasium.

 

 

Then the teacher proposed us to talk about national Ukrainian food and food from foreign countries which we tasted!

 

 

 

All of us were embarrassed, shy and a bit silent , but it was so interesting to talk with a foreigner in English!

 

 

It was so exciting and at the end of the lesson all of us were smiling and talking so quickly and we didn't notice when the lesson finished.

 

 

Natalia Ivanivna proposed to have photos taken of us with the American teacher Russell Wrght.
So , I think we won't forget this lesson, because it was very interesting and useful for us!
