    English Seminar. March 19 2014
     

    There was a seminar for English teachers,

    held in our gymnasium on March,19 2014.

    Desnianskyi district methodologist in foreign languages

    Farida Sumhativna was the first to hold the floor and greet the teachers.

     
     
    Then our teachers presented different ways of teaching pupils.

    Natalia Mozgova,Valentyna Comchuk & Tina Tsarenko Showed 

    the variety of exercises to be done in class & at home

    to improve pupils' skills.
     
     
     
    Natalia Byzova, Tetiana Pikush, and Tetiana Savchenko
     
    presented Troyeshchyna Land platform of freelance journalists,
     
    which had been launched in 2010. 
     
     
    They also surfed the poetic "Magic Land" site 
     
    with the translations of Sara Teasdale' poems.
     
    During a year pupils had been working with the biography

    background & poetic works of the poet.

    While translating the poems, pupils improved their grammar,

    vocabulary & reading skills.

     
     
     
    One of the best  poems" There Will Come Soft Rains"
     
    with her translation was read by Ella Yevtushenko.

    Teachers who were present at the seminar,
     
    greatly enjoyed the translations of our pupils.

    They were pleased with the work & the poetic

    efforts of the pupils.
