Do you like fairy tales? I do. I especially like reading them in Ukrainian because our Ukrainian language is very melodious.
Just yesterday I came across a smart piece of reading - it was Nadia Marchuk's DZVINKA AND DANYLKO.
Here is a passage from the book:
"Горислав помалу йшов з лісу додому і все думав, думав про несподівану зустріч. Що йому тепер робити? Шукати красуню високо в горах? Але ж оселі повітруль невидимі для людей. Кажуть, людина може пройти крізь хатинку повітрулі й навіть не помітити, що пройшла крізь стіни… Та й чи захоче Ружа втратити заради нього своє безсмертя? Чи хоче він сам цього для неї? Чи ц

A year ago on a sunny April day Victor Serhiyovych Yuryk died in a car accident.
The family, teachers and students loved him and miss a nice person, teacher and artist.
His "Romantic plot" artistic album was launched not long ago in his memory.
Here are some of our recollections about Victor Serhiyovych.
*
He was the best teacher in our Gymnasium (Masha Konoplia)

Victor Serhiyovych was a very creative person.
He designed and painted a magnificent castle and the sky on the walls of room 313 in the Gymnasium.
I think it's one of his masterpieces.
And today, on 18 April 2013, I have participated in Olha Madylus's "Motivating Teenagers" and "Writing for exams" sessoins organised by Oxford University Press.
"Motivating Teenagers" session explored the problems of being a teenager, specifically a teenager in a language classroom. These problems include physiological, psychological and social issues.
Yesterday we had a special competition with another group of our 9a class.
It was dedicated to English days in our gymnasium. I think, it was an exciting event!
We were divided into two teams. Every pupil, who entered the classroom, said a number.
So we had two teams ‘even’ and ‘uneven’.
We had different tasks from our Solutions MultiROM.
The teams could discuss their thoughts about exercises.
Then one student from each team came to the screen and without hints did those exercises.
We all tried to be that 'student'.
Eventually ‘even’ won with the score 36:35.
We all had a great time !
